BLUFFTON, SC

The Calhoun Street Fishing Pier

Just off Route 278 off the Hilton Head Parkway is Route 46. This main road brings you into beautiful Bluffton. Bluffton, SC is opens like a blossoming rose in the morning light. The Mossy Oak lined streets provide a canopy of shade for the sidewalks that meander through the town like the rivers and tributaries.

Bluffton is a secret gem of the low country off the beaten path. The homes present like Edgartown, or Chatham. Though it is an exemplary display of charitable contributions to dedications, to public access and to a multitude of civic values.

I'll be updating this column with some cool places. So check in whenever.

Hydrangea and an acre of flower pots!

This is Southern Marsh Nursery. A place I stumbled across on my way home to Savannah.

I've been planning my landscaping project for my house for quite some time. So on my way home, I saw this nursery. I pulled into a driveway to turn around, and headed back.

As I entered the parking lot, this MASSIVE expanse of every plant, tree and shrub unfolded before me. Lots of parking next to the main building.

The front porch of this oasis is all hand garden tools, rakes, pick axes, brooms, shovels and edgers.

Inside is a wall of high quality groundskeeping equipment. Many groundskeepers have a quiet clause in their contracts. Meaning that certain maintenance must be done with hand tools. If you're in a neighborhood that has that requirement for your groundskeepers or if you insist on that for your home, this is the place for those hand tools. Shears, loppers, hand pruners, pole saws, small medium and large hole cutters. Beautiful lamb skin and cow hide gardening gloves. Here's the best part....I couldn't believe how well it was all priced!!

Bird seed, bird feeders and bird houses are all available here.

Acres of trees went beyond where the eye could see. Stone, mulch, sand and aggregates all available here.

There's no comparison to their selection of ceramic and clay pots for patios, porches and cabanas.

This is an incredible spot. Super convenient, excellent prices and very high quality.

Open 6 days a week depending on holidays.

Check this family run business out. They were very helpful to me. And very knowledgeable.

Beyond that, they were extremely kind and genuine.
